We’ve been to a fair amount of shoots in our lifetime, we’ve met a decent number of famous people and living in London we thought we’ve seen it all. But there are certain things you just don’t really expect when called to a shoot and this week was one of those shoots: “Tim Minchin is going to cover Youtube hero Charlie McDonnell in golden syrup in honey….yes…yes…with a brush. And then he’ll cover him in feathers”

No, this wasn’t some strange celeb fetish party. All this syruping and feathering was in the name of charity for Red Nose Day. Number 25 in Charlie’s McDonnell’s Challenge Charlie series, Charlie dedicated his final challenge to Comic Relief and raise money for the charity’s 25th Red Nose Day.
Charlie and Tim Minchin had in the past got together to write and perform the best, funniest, most amazing song in the world. Or so they claim. We’ll never find out – because Charlie forgot to press the record button. Fortunately, this time he left the sound to us. Enjoy the video here – volume up!
