If someone gave you £10 and challenged you to turn it into more, what would you do? This is precisely the challenge that is given to students across the country by Young Entreprises.
Young Entreprises is the leading UK charity that empowers youth to harness both their personal and business skills. They strive to make business relevant to the daily lives of young people and in doing so give these young people the skills they need to develop skills to succeed that you cannot learn from a textbook.
With programmes targeted at every year of education from primary to secondary, Young Entreprises delivers over 4 million learning hours each year. With one in seven people aged 16-24 not in Education, Employment and Training, there are 950,000 people at a greater risk of social exclusion, reduced well-being, income inequality and reduced prospects.
This is why programmes like the Tenner Challenge are so important. This nationwide competition is for enterprising young people aged 11 to 19. Using real money these young people get to think and implement a business idea to make a profit and a difference.
Inspired by this great cause and the passionate people behind it, it was a no-brainer for Kartoffel Films to get involved and made this CSR film.
